I am having problems with one of my networking card, an Intel Pro 1000/T I use on a K7SEM. This system is my "disks box".
It used to be quite stable but hell broke loose Saturday. I couldn't do a reliable back-up of the RAID array I have on my disks box. I re-tried several time and every time I had an error message telling me "{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the file. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection."
Since I had scanned my disk and found no errors, I decide to switch from the Intel network card to the on-board Realtek. Guess what? No more problems. I wonder what happened to my Intel... I'll try to pick a new one up over the week-end. It's the first time I have a problem with an Intel network card.
