 Mindnumbing to sit in class for 3 hours.

Biosemiotics is the salvation of my current attitude toward grad school.  I like my language teaching methodology and theory class ok.  Ethnography which I had today is interesting but it seems flaky and disorganized.  And language assessment is a complete mystery which is hard for me to connect to. 

Biosemiotics is fun.  I like thinking about the origins of language and generally talking about ideas instead of the rest of the stuff I'm currently reading.

Not sure what is happening, but Opera is pretty grouchy these days and IE is working much better.  This is despite downloading the latest version of Opera. 

Incidentally, I'm also annoyed at the Opera bookmarks which isn't as flexible as I would like it.
