Too little sleep means that I'm going to be tired. 

One thing that I've discovered, I like reading instruction manuals only when the gadget is there to play with.  Language teaching methodology and theory is great, except I have no classroom to try this stuff out in or to see it at work.  This leads me to not really enjoy my readings or to be bored.
