It seems that some new powerbooks are quite noisy, and the fan runs at the maximum speed all the time. However, some machines are quite quiet. I had a review machine for one week, and it was very quiet, and pleasantly cool also.

I'm getting my own PowerBook G4 this week. I hope I'll get one of the silent ones, but who knows.
