Privacy and camera phones are a hot topic in Finland right now. Today I noticed a column on this topic at the Sonera Plaza site (in Finnish, Kamerakännykkä: lelu, hyötykapine vai kotirauhan rikkoja?). What are the limits of acceptable behaviour? It seems that in Japan camera phones have already caused embarrasing situations.


[Item Permalink] Teaching parallel programming with MPI -- Comment()
Next week I'll lecture on a two-day course on parallel programming with MPI. This time the course will be lectured in English, although about half of the participants speak Finnish. Last December we organized the same course in Finnish, and received several requests for the course in English.
