lust for a 17 inch PowerBook

Yesterday I watched my first ever Macworld keynote (via QuickTime) which suprised me - I quite enjoyed it. I've never much been into the idea of having a Mac until Mac OS X and the PowerBook came along. Then I saw the new 17" PowerBook and it was lust at first sight.

A 17" screen on a 1" thick laptop with a nice UI and Unix underneath. Whoo-hoo! Shiping 7-10 weeks unfortunately for those in the UK - still I think I'll have to place an order, how can I resist?

Incidentally there's a very funny advert for the new small 12" and 17" laptops.

Update: I could resist no longer and have placed my order. So hopefully by March it'll turn up :).
