Impressed with YourKit
I had to do a spot of profiling today. I installed YourKit on OS X which took a few seconds - it asked where IDEA was, I told it, restarted IDEA and in about 5 seconds time I was successfully profiling the application. An hour later I'd figured out the issue and fixed it.

I've gotta say that was the most enjoyable and fast start-to-finish profile sessions I can remember - I'm impressed. It often takes me an hour or two with other profilers just to get the damn thing running :). I've attempted to use other profilers on OS X but YourKit just worked - and just worked literally in seconds from downloading it. If only all software was that easy to use... :)
