Prices Coming Down!

Continuing to look for cheaper quotes from publishers has paid off.

The original quote from Exacta Print, at just over £750, was to be folded, rather than bound. Having asked people for their thoughts on this type of binding, they would prefer a different way of binding.

I got in touch with Exacta Print again. They gave me a telephone number for Cameron Bookbinders, who would be able to bind the book from the pages printed by Exacta Print.

Their binding quote was as follows:

80 A4 books consisting of 48 pages of text plus 4pp cover, text supplied collated, cover supplied scored in 4 positions, we to perfect bind and trim:

Cost ....................................................£80.00

Alternative cost for hard back binding wth cover foil blocked on front:

Cost.......................................................£280.00

Plus the cost of the block for foiling......£50.00 approx
