2002 Investment Results (Internal Rate of Return)

Ed and Audrey's Portfolio: -6.01%

Ed's Portfolio: +5%

S&P 500: -19.22%

Dow Jones: -11.30%

NASDAQ:  -28.68%

Not bad if I do say so myself...comprehensive 3 year performance hopefully coming soon, provided I can find all my old records.  I guess I should state that the joint portfolio I set up for Audrey and I after we got married, so the performance for that is really only a 6 month rate of return, which skews the performance a little.  My personal portfolio actually had only one real transaction for the year, but incurred financing costs when it was moved from Schwab to Ameritrade so the performance is actually a little higher.  However, it has about 1/3rd of the money that the joint has so you can use that to calculate the actual return for the portfolios which leaves me down a little over 3% in aggregate.

Compounded performance for 3 years of both portfolios may follow shortly...
