Believer's A.T.T.I.C.

I've been selling some used books on Amazon.com It's been pretty good so far. A lot of  titles aren't worth a nickel, but most of the recent titles have sold quickly. It's not a "get rich quick" scheme or anything, but it feeds the "buy more books" fund.

Anyway, this got me thinking about using the internet as a method by which we could share "all the things in common." Is this possible? You know, posting, say, a list of the stuff i have that you could have ( for the cost of shipping only) if you need it, without running into major scam artists? Maybe i could get a PayPal  account and have people donate a buck to the "charity/missionary -of-the-month" as a good-faith gesture...i don't know. If this is do-able, then i want to do this. I would love to make all the "stuff" that i have but don't use or really need anymore available to others...without dumping it off at the closest Thrift Store not really knowing who's pocketing the change.

What's up with "reduce, reuse and recycle" anyway? Am i the only one who is still into this? Or is this the un-American spiritual discipline?
