Sharpening the Ministry Saw

Wow!, I can't believe it! The time has already arrived for Gifts of the Red Tent: Women Creating, which is the 6th biennial "Women Doing Theology" conference organized by women in the North American Anabaptist community. I'll be heading down to Virginia (in what appears to be a torrential downpour) this afternoon.

I'm going to take my djembe with me so that I can attend the: Spirituality of Drumming workshop led by Louise Ranck.

Since participants can only sign up for two workshops, I think I'm going to go to the Spirituality of Storytelling as well, which is supposed to teach the Native American way of telling great truths through stories...

Pray for my family while I'm away...especially Sean, whose taking Mike for his driver's license today...(convenient for me to have to be "out-of-town," eh? :-)
