Human Action in Greensboro

Spent part of our Sunday afternoon today visiting with Bettina Greaves who is recovering from a few broken bones -- which can happen when you get to be 86 years old. Bettina must be the only person in Greensboro who has meet Ludwig von Mises (as his editor), Ayn Rand, Henry Hazlit and Robert Welch along with a host of other luminaries in the fight for human freedom.
We left a few of our favorites from The Fresh Market, rugalach and chocolate squares, and took home a copy of The Incredible Bread Machine.
(You're right. That's not Bettina in the photo. That's her trusted bedside partner Danny -- with Bettina's knee under the covers in the background.)
