Journalism 101
The NY Post was not the only media outlet blowing the facts in political news this week. Here is a posting from the Libertarian Party of North Carolina e-mail group that shows how NC journalism compares:
Good morning,
According to this wral.com article:
http://www.wral.com/politics/3494842/detail.html
Fern Shubert is the "lone" female running for governor.
This is incorrect. Barbara Howe is also running for governor and will be on the ballot statewide:

http://www.votehowe.com/
And I also note that on your main 'politics' page:
http://www.wral.com/politics/index.html
you list "Bush" and "Kerry" and then under "Other candidates/parties" you list Nader and Kucinich, neither of whom will be on the NC ballot, but not Badnarik (www.badnarik.org), the Libertarian candidate who -will- be on the NC ballot.
I look forward to seeing these errors and omissions corrected quickly. Thanks for your time.
