Mountain Woman Virginia Foxx Terrible that I did not promote this when it happened, but better late than never. How great it is that NC's 5th has a Congressman from the Appalachian Mts who is following in the footsteps of Congressman Crockett. I am also not aware of any amendments to the US Constitution since the time President Cleveland could find no authority in it to toss federal money at natural disasters. Hats off to Congresswoman Virginia Foxx for being one of the 11 principled and brave members of the US House to vote against Federal aid for victims of Hurricane Katrina. 9:14:47 PM
