What a wonderful idea! For some reason, there doesn't seem to be an aboundance of new user interface ideas outside of Apple and Microsoft. Sadly, most software designers are so preocupied with designing the functionality and so endoctrinated in the religion of consistency, they don't ask what would be best user interface for their application.
