In Between. Alright, I have received a "GO!" from the publishing company of 'film' regarding publication of the covers; I am not permitted to publish any of the articles though, because the copyright is still with the authors. Fair enough. So I'll redesign the 'film' website to make it a proper website, this stupid macdotcom photo album stuff just doesn't work for a project like this. I'll have to omit the articles though. If anyone out there in Germany (or else) has more information on 'film', I'm looking forward to an email. I'll post some more Dinky Toys pages, probably tomorrow. The Art of Ray Caesar. This is fantastic. This is amazing. This is unbelievable. This is great. My work is entirely digital, from its creation to its method of printing. I create models in a three dimensional modeling software and cover these models with painted and manipulated photographic textures that wrap around them like a map on a globe. Each model is then set up with a invisible skeleton that allows me to pose and position the figure in its three dimensional environment. Digital lights and cameras are added with shadows and reflections simulating that of a real world. Update: Order some of his prints here. I print everything myself on a Epson 7600 with pigment ultrachrome inks ( archival for around a 100 years ). I print on heavyweight "German Etching Paper" or "Arches Infinity paper" the best paper I can find. 9:57:38 AM     |
