Hmm... Should have read the manual earlier.

Was scratching my head wondering how to reconnect to prior posts, when, I decided to read Rogers Cadenhead's book - Radio Userland KickStart.  Lo and behold, while thumbing through his lecture on retrieving archived posts, I gained a clearer insight as to the structure of weblogdata.root.  So, I copied the old file back where it belonged and I now have all my posts (except April's -- wonder if I can cut and paste the entries from that root file into this one... nah, can't be that easy, can it?).
