Senate to Discuss Open Spectrum Broadband InfoWorld had this piece about the emerging legislation surrounding open spectrum policy, in particular using unlicensed spectrum to help technologies such as WiFi broadband get further adoption.  It's great to see this get momentum right into the new year, as open spectrum activists such as Kevin Werbach had hoped.  While this will take years to fully come into effect, it continues the trend towards affordable, available high-speed Internet from anywhere. 5:23:06 PM    comment []
