Speaking at SoftEdge 2003 In about a week I'll be moderating a panel at RVC SoftEdge 2003.  The conference agenda and speaker roster looks great.  My panel is on the future of software that supports "smart infrastructures" -- everything from RFID/EPC enabled products, to embedded wireless sensor networks, to bluetooth enabled personal devices communicating with our environment.  The core premise of the conference is something I'm sympathetic to -- the past few years has seen enormous, continued innovation in software, and a lot of this work is converging to create a new overall platform of opportunity. 7:34:40 AM    comment []
