Good Taste
Yes, I have been a bad blogger. No blog entry in a while. Of course I am a very busy person and that is my excuse. Take it or leave it. Sometimes there really isn't anything I feel like blogging about on a particular day so that is my second excuse.
My Glamour Shots photo for the 2004 Ladies of Liberty Calendar turned out well. It was fun, my daughter and I got some shots taken together too. Ironically it was the 4th of July when we went. The new calendar is going to be even better than the first.
Last week I started a new job at a credit union here in Charlotte. I really think I am going to like it, everyone has been so nice. I love the fact that they seem to really appreciate the individual members and employees and treat them well.
This coming fall semester I will be taking General Psychology and Intro to Programming and Logic at CPCC. I am a part-time student, but I expect to graduate with my Associates in Business Administration in 2004. :-D Yea! Then on to a fine 4 year institution...
I am currently reading Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. This classic book was not required reading for me. So I won't be deprived any longer. Our family is still listening to the audio tape of the new Harry Potter book, which is quite interesting. My daughter has been spellbound lately by a real good children’s game called Learn to Play Chess with Fritz & Chesster. Really neat stuff.
Etheric will be playing at the Steeple Lounge August 8th, 2003. A cool venue I have yet to see. I hear they have local art hanging on the walls and artists painting during shows.
A new discovery of ours found at the local Total Wine shop is the yummy Peach and Rasberry Belgian Framboise Ale by Lindemans. :-D Very tasty, even my mom liked it. Check out its ranking here and write your own reviews.
And politics? Let me just say I think that showing the Iraqi people the photos of Saddam's dead sons is in very bad taste. -Jennifer
