Project Management Blog Points to State of Texas PM Framework

This evening, I took a few moments to read a new group blog called PMThink! Project Management Thought Leadership, subtitled The Latest Word in Project and Portfolio Management. There, posted on Tuesday August 30, I found the following link to the State of Texas Project Management Framework:

It's amazing how many companies pay a fortune or spend an eternity trying to get their project management framework set up when there are so many best practices on the web to learn from for free.

Here's another one, this time from the State of Texas. Note particularly the Process for Project Planning section, which offers a table with scaleable processes, depending on the size/focus of the project.

Guidelines and Model Process Manual

The indented section above is quoted from them. I like it. At this new blog, several people are posting more that once a day. Go read more. More project management links are on the right (under the advertisements).
