UK Government Book on Global Meltdown UK Government Predicts Global Meltdown. The Greenland ice sheet will almost certainly melt, according to a new book published by the UK government today. The BBC is running this as today's main headline. [kuro5hin.org] The British government has some elements that are more seriously scientific. Interesting what the UK government publishes, in contrast with the US government's publishing--a project when and if I have some time. On another subject, I haven't moved Experimental Space to a new machine and different OS, because too many practical things needed to get done during the recent weeks.
