Sueddeutsche Zeitung: Runs a very insightful article (german) or as they call it, an open letter to the music industry.
How is this an Unix issue?? Easy, they try to explain the folks at RIAA and related organizations that it is a bad idea to piss of people who are spending money on CDs. DRM (Digital Restrictions Management) kind of silvery disks that resemble CDs, that is. If these people are trying to copy the music to their iPods and the process doesn't run as smoothly as expected, the said people will exercise their fair use rights by getting the music they bought from the net, will they only get the music they bought in the first place?, go figure. (Probably to much to expect reasoning from the folks at RIAA and related). In essence: don't annoy your paying customers in the first place!
