At last I got www.loquo.com out of my living room. It feels so liberating not carrying my dirty little secret anymore. Yep, until yesterday LoQUo ran out of my DSL line (for home use only, although here in Hispania things are pretty lax, I didn't even sign a DSL contract).
In a way it was good because having so little disposable bandwidth made me refine the code, use proper caching, etc so now it should go pretty fast.
I want to thank my friend Ben for inspiring me to dive into linux. I’m now a convert but don’t worry, I won’t knock on your door dressed in a suit to convince you of lamp wonders. It’s a long process and it isn’t for everybody.
Ben, along with his wife Valerie, is the brains and the coding hands behind a very successful community: www.prince.org. He was kind enough to offer www.loquo.com a ride on the same linux box.
Thanks again, Ben.
