Newsblaster : an example of the statistical approach vs the logical approach to finding what you are looking for. What we want from our internet is for it to help us find what we are looking for. Google is great, but Google is slow ... err .. it's fast but it still slow to index things happening in real time. To go beyond what Google can provide, we need a social network, subjective context sensitivity, and a little AI type heuristic programming.
