Well, what are you waiting for? Just kidding! It would take a bit to put together a proposed common vocabluary, let alone set up an organization that would approve and maintain such a thing. A standardized art history / critique could be pretty straight forward, 'tho. Artist's: birth & death, country of origin, major schools/institutions attended / taught, major influences, etc... Piece's: creation date, media, size, process, etc.... Piece's: form, major colors, movements (abstract, experssionistic, etc...) organic/architectural, etc... I guess it is all in the etc.... We'll stew on this for a bit. I owuld think others have long ago come up with some standards- Time to go surfing- 10:46:09 AM
