Ceramics Classes for a Deathrock Cutter

Jolene Siana (blog) writes a series of letters
to a rock star, who collects them and one day sends them back. She is an
outcast in her school, into Deathrock and cutting herself. The prose, pages,
and intent are very creative and intense. ("Go Ask Ogre")

It seems that her first letter was written while she was in a ceramics class. Not knocking
the teacher, or anything, but it does bring up a point on how to make a
ceramics class pertanent to someone obviously artistic, yet an outsider.

The bigger issue for me is how can ceramic craft reach and speak for people outside the main stream. I know it can and it does.

Astronomy Podcast / Audio Program.

Loyal readers know that I dabble in astronomy.

While viewing things in a telescope is a sort of a visual thrill, understanding
more about an object makes the view a whole lot better. I tend to forget the
things I read about a celestial object by the time I get a chance to view
it. Thus, the idea (not new, I'm sure) of an audio program one can listen
to while viewing.

I did an example of the globular cluster M13

It is short and not too professional. However, it is certainly
suitable for listening while viewing the object in one's telescope.
(This is my intent.)

M13 ogg audio file
M13.txt file

I would like to place it where others can improve upon it, as well as
create similar audio programs. I am thinking of the wikipedia.
