The State of Craft Address Well, it sure isn't pottery.  Looking at his year's nominations for important/favorite blogs of the year, The Bloggies, gives a good indicator as to what a certain, important, demographic enjoys. Not Martha offers general how to make stuff linkage,  Yarn Harlot features knitting, MAKE features technical DIY goodness, Loobylu has children's illustrations, Angry Chicken has more DIY Crafty linkages. No, I am not upset that yours truly was not nominated, I probably lost out because of all the typos.  However, I would like to think that there would been one traditional craft artist blog up there.  You know, someone who has been in American Craft, or whatever.  Perhaps it is because that type of craft is not speaking to this demographic, or is using language that is not understood.
