CFML in the CLR !!! via Sean Corfield In a soon to be released column for the CFDJ Vince Bonfanti the president of New Atlanta communications has announced that he intends to port his CFML engine (Blue Dragon) to both the JVM and the CLR. The JVM version is shipping and the CLR version is in alpha. Where do I sigh up for the beta ?? :) BTW he also mentions looking at running Blue Dragon within the PHP engine. They have said that the PHP engine is not a VM like the JVM or CLR so while intresting may prove pointless. Its an interesting idea and my hope is the CLR version will target standards rather than commercial CLR and thus runs in Mono and Dot GNU etc. Running Blue Dragon in the Parrot VM makes lots of sense too. I do hope that the CFMX .NET port shows up soon ;-) Who said CF was dead, in Vinces own words, CFML Forever !! 12:39:46 PM    comment []
