I'm interested in using eBay not only as a vehicle to sell my studio work but also as a really big bulletin board for the occasional piece of guerrilla-art-theater. The last piece I did like this was a xeroxed collage titled "Dick Cheney is in an Undisclosed Location", which I listed as a personal homeland security device. (you can see it on my homepage http://www.fimp.net - I was shocked to sell 45 of them!) This new auction, "Trent Lott's Pure White Bread", is my little political cartoon in 3-d form.
Being a printmaker, I love collecting multiple "stuff". This week Senator Lott gave me a use for a pile of individually wrapped slices of bread that I'd accumulated. They're so ridiculous, I'm glad I finally found something appropriate to use them for!
I wonder how many folks out there are using eBay AS their medium?
