ZopeMag Donates Archetypes Article

Mark Pratt sent me a note last week letting me know that the "Introduction to Archetypes" article by Sidnei da Silva is now freely available. Sidnei did a very good job with this article, as did the editors at ZopeMag.

This is part of an ongoing working relationship between ZopeMag and the Plone folks. The goal is to provide regular, commercial-quality material for the Plone community. IMO, this is a win for all involved. Authors get paid for writing, editors get paid for re-writing (which is really the only way good writing becomes great), and ZopeMag gets to make a sustainable business model. And, of course, people in the Plone community that sign up for a subscription get content that is professional.

This isn't a replacement for the ongoing documentation efforts, as the game isn't zero-sum. It is, though, a very useful addition for the professional Plone community.
