My university, what's gone wrong? In 1985 I was a freshman at the University of Florida, a fine, scholarly institution. I say that because, my freshman year, UF was voted the number one party school by Playboy magazine. Kinda tells you about my criteria in life choices. I now see that UF is second only to Harvard in number of National Merit Scholars, and is the top-ranking public institution for recruiting National Achievement Scholars.
