Fred Rogers, Host of 'Mister Rogers' Neighborhood,' Dies at 74. The thoughtful television "neighbor," who helped generations of children learn to get along in this world, died this morning. By Daniel Lewis. [New York Times: NYT HomePage] I was a HUGE Mister Rogers fan when I was a kid.  I was glued to the TV every day when it came on.  I thought it was so cool that he came home and changed shoes and sweaters.  Don't ask me why, I guess I'm a freak like that.  My favorite part of the show is when he would do projects in his kitchen like making Playdough.   It only came on weekdays, but I remember wishing it came on every day.  We'll all miss you Mister Rogers! 8:19:28 AM    comment []
