If you are like me, you've ignored that little "Sections" portion to the left of the Slashdot main page. I actually looked at it this morning, and it's really cool. It gives you a way to get targeted information about your area(s) of interest. In addition, each of the sections are actually fully qualified names. So, the Apple section can be accessed as http://apple.slashdot.org. Very nice.
