Maybe I'm crazy (I know, that's not a maybe), but I thought Windows 2000 had a standard behavior in command prompts that you could select text with the mouse without having to go to the menu and hit Edit, Mark.  In XP, the default is that you have to go to Edit, Mark before you can mark text to copy.  This has been annoying me to no end.

So, today I finally motivated my lazy bones to go figure out how to bring back that default mouse marking behavior.  I found an article on Microsoft TechNet through the wonders of Google that tells you to turn on QuickEdit in the Properties for the command prompt to get this behavior.  I turned it on, applied it for the shortcut instead of just that window, and now I have my default mouse marking back!  Whew.
