HONG KONG
What a blaring hypocrite Blair is. He calls for democracy in Hong Kong. Blair has a very short memory. When Hong Kong was under British rule, there was no democracy, only the richest were allowed to vote. A few months before the transfer of power to China in 1997 some laws were changed that gave the people the right to vote.
It seems double standards are standard with this scion of the British Empire. And hypocrisy is one of Blair's outstanding qualities.
