World War II cost the Soviet Union millions of soldiers and civilians, some say 22 others even 50 million. Statistics mention 11,285,057 fallen soldiers (wounded: 29,629,205); if we assume there were as much civilian deaths or probably more, a total of 25 million deaths and 50 million wounded would be a close guess. The turning point in the war was the Battle of Stalingrad, from then on the German troops were pushed back. The only reason the United States entered the war on a larger scale was the advance of the Soviet troops on Berlin. The US did not want that. The Russians even waited patiently for the Americans to join them in Berlin.
Prescott Bush, the grandfather of George W. Bush was a nazi supporter. Many American enterprises financed Hitler. Now the son of the son of a Bush is desecrating Europe.
Europe owes its freedom from fascism to the Russians. A heartfelt thanks! Also thanks to Victor's father who fell in Greece. Bolshoe spacibo.
