LA Times: "A U.S. appeals court says software used to swap songs and films online doesn't violate copyright law. It's a setback for the entertainment industry.
Three years after it effectively shut down Napster for music piracy, a federal appeals court Thursday blessed a new generation of online file-sharing networks and scolded the entertainment industry for trying to stretch copyright law to thwart innovation."
There's a whole industry based on copiers, tape recorders, video recorders, computers, and MP3 players. So what is the problem with the entertainment industry?
