Like many countries, Israel is torn between right-wing fundamentalists and tolerant people.
IsraelNN: "A leaflet distributed in several neighborhoods in Jerusalem offered NIS 20,000 to anyone who kills participants in the International Gay Pride Parade scheduled to take place in Jerusalem next month."
ACRI: "Today, July 11, 2006, six human rights groups petitioned the Israeli High Court demanding that the crossings in Gaza be opened to allow for the steady and regular supply of fuel, food, medicine, and equipment, including spare parts needed to operate generators."
Each day, Israel is becoming more and more an image of the fundamentalist creeds it is fighting.
