Per & Sten Sundblad are two brilliant guys from neighboring country Sweden. They have now released their new book ‘Design patterns for Scalable Micorosoft .NET Applications’. I have read an early draft of this book and can’t wait to read the final version.
The book is based around many of the same principles as described in the book they published in 2000 on Microsoft Press; “Designing for scalability with Microsoft Windows DNA”. Now they have broken their ‘big-pattern’ into seven smaller design pattern, realizing that one-size does not fit all.
They use many of the same principles we do at our company, centered around using Enterprise Services and DataSets for entity objects. This is no coincidence; their first book was very inspirational for many of us.
They have also changed their name form ADB Arkitektur to Sundblad & Sunblad. Take a look at www.2xsundblad.com, I think their new site looks really good.
