I've been in a discussion with several people inside and outside the Center about what "openness" means.  It's worth asking.  At a certain point, with any term like this one -- loads of connotations and possible meanings, technical, legal and otherwise -- we have to go with what we believe in and understand that some people will see it otherwise.  I find it hard to quarrel with the track record of the Berkman Center in terms of its dogged pursuit of this thing, whatever it might be exactly. 6:12:06 PM
