Ed Cone recalls a pretty cool interview with Jerry Garcia: "Iím not a toy person in a big way. If a car starts and stops, thatís good enough. My kind of greed is the kind of greed where I like to have stuff thatís fun to do. So it isnít tied up in stuff. Microsoft Loses a Round to Rival Sun. A judge ruled that Microsoft must include Sun Microsystems's Java with the Windows operating system, handing Sun a victory in its private antitrust case. [New York Times: Technology] NYT argues that Java has been damaged on the desktop. Yes, but Java is giving MSFT a run for the money in the mid- and hign-end enterprises. Go, boys, go! Watch what happens next: innovation!
