I just got back from a good meeting. I've been given an assignment to bring a group together and develop some technical solutions for a major project in the Utah education community. It was a good confab. And I was reminded of an important lesson.

There could be a tendancy for a few of us involved parties to go off and do some things on our own. It wouldn't be unheard of. But we spent time discussing ideas that would help each other, taking the opportunity to vent a little and also giving some consideration to the other person's point-of-view. It's good to cooperate

In fact, it's Mike Vance who taught me that it is the cooperators who survive and thrive. And it's the carnivores who eventually meet and untimely end..........
