Today we released the first early access Developer's Preview of JDeveloper 10g Release 2 (version 10.1.3). It includes many of the major new features that we have completed and polished enough to get your early feedback on. Since we haven't yet finished the major new ADF features that we're working on for the 10.1.3 release, this milestone preview does not yet include our ADF framework-related functionality. ADF will be included in a follow-on milestone preview release in 2005. You can refer to the feature matrix to see the full set of features that will be eventually included. You can also watch a number of online demos to see highlights of the new features we're showcasing in this first developer's preview. You can give us your feeback on this first developer's preview over in the JDeveloper OTN Discussion Forum.

The other important thing we've been working on is the next production maintenance release of our current JDeveloper 10g product. This JDeveloper 10g, release 10.1.2, will be released on OTN by the end of December 2004 and will supercede the current JDeveloper 10g 9.0.5.2 release. It includes a large number of bug fixes and improved ADF runtime performance improvements.
