Seeing this feedback over on Andrej's blog today brought a smile to my face after all the hard work our IDE team has done to beef up our code-focused development features in the JDeveloper 10.1.3 major release (early preview available now on OTN) coming in 2005.
For hand coding java Eclipse used to be a lot more productive than JDeveloper, thanks to its extensive support for refactoring and quick fixes. JDeveloper now has better support for both.
