I noticed several fresh posts on Sung's weblog this weekend. He's answered lots of questions for me as I've been working on the ADF Developer's Guide content for ADF Business Components. Glad to see him posting again after an extended period of blog-silence...

Last week I finished reviewing all of the other writer's chapters in the ADF Developer's Guide for Forms/4GL Developers, and also turned in all of my final edits to my own chapters. We're now in the final stages of working on the index and the final bits and bobs to readying it for going production on OTN. With Duncan's help, I've got the ADF Business Components version of the SRDemo Sample that accompanies the manual able to be automatically installed from the "Check for Updates..." center when the final version of the manual goes live sometime soon. I'll also be making full workspaces of all of the other examples described in the book available from an "Examples Download" page on OTN related to the book, so you will be able to try the examples as you read about them, whether they are directly related to the SRDemo, or more focused, simpler versions of the building-block concepts.

I was able to incorporate all of the feedback I received from numerous internal and external readers who sent their comments on the pre-release draft. Thanks!
