"Yesterday's posting also prompted an anonymous e-mail suggesting I was too cowardly to come out and say directly I was against the war. Nope. I just didn't think it was necessary since I made it so obvious. I am against the Butcher of Bagdad and I am against a war in Iraq. I am pro-democracy, pro-press, pro-freedom of speech, pro-US and against underwear with too-tight elastic like the pair that's squeezing me as I type this. I believe that journalists are entitled to voice their opinions as private citizens, and I believe that journalists have an obligation to cover issues fairly and accurately in the course of their work."
