Just used our old digicam intensively for the first time in months. Wow, what a difference in shot-to-shot lag. I don't know how much is inherent to the respective cameras, and how much is due to the very fast compact flash I bought (10 MB/S, instead of the typical, I think, 2.8 or less). The fast SD (Sandisk Ultra II) was a must have, to complement the fast burst mode on my camera. Seemed like about a 30% premium versus standard SD.
