I can't believe Galyan's has been taken over and conveted to "Dick's". Along with Guidant a month ago, yet another Indianapolis-headquartered company disappears (there weren't any too many to begin with).

My impresson of Galyan's was always "very nice, but way too pricey". I almost never bought anything there. This thread seems to bear out that impression.

Wow. We just switched to the latest version of Exchange at work, and the "Outlook Web Access" is radically improved. Still not as good as the fat client, but a pretty amazing facsimile. I wonder how much black magic Microsoft needed in the OS to make it work...
