The guy I'm working for, Kentaro, introduced me to some kewl sites. The first is a strategy game created in Java. You can challenge each other using your browser. It's a turn-based tank game with different types of weapons like nukes and my favorite .. sand bombs. He won, but I'll get him back >):
Scorched Earth 2000

The 2nd site is frikin hilarious. It's a collection of Flash comics that this guy Joe created. You gotta checkout Superfly:
Superfly
Superfly II
Superfly Santa

"I'm your Daddy!"

Well, on a more serious note ...
LDAP, LDAP, LDAP
going through ColdFusion MX's docs on CFLDAP, which is a tag that enables you to access a LDAP server. For those of you non-technical people .. don't worry about it. Nah ;) it's basically like an address book, but better. That's all I know for now. Let me do some more reading.

Per DougE's request I'll get some photos up soon. I'll prob start w/ some older ones from last year. Also, get some shots of where I work and daily life in Tokyo type photos. Now I can use the word "STAY TUNED" .. feels korny.

** Sony's Third-Quarter Profit Soars to New Heights
</headline>
<story>
In Brief: Sony unveiled some unexpectedly robust numbers today as the
company reported record third-quarter profit fueled by the strong
performances of its movies ("Spiderman," "Men in Black II") and
PlayStation 2. Group net income was up 96 percent year on year to
125.4 billion yen, Bloomberg reported. The movie division of Sony had
a record year, with $2.75 billion in ticket sales, and the game
division sold 8.5 million PlayStation 2 consoles during the holiday
season. Year-end sales of plasma display TVs and digital cameras
helped bolster the bottom line; only the music division saw declines
in both sales and profit. Sony's third quarter ended on Dec. 31.

Our country's almost starting a war .. and here I am admiring Sony .. but that PS2 is JUST SO MUCH FUN!
OK, don't get any wierd ideas Shirley-chan .. like selling my PS2 & XBOX. I'm not addicted .. like I said before, it's to study the gaming industry
